Adam Hyde (NL) a Aleksandar Erkalovic (HR), rezidenti Itchy Bit, prezentujú rádio WiFio, ktoré vysiela cez internet a vďaka hardvéru ho cez elektromagnetické spektrum môžete ľahko zachytiť a jednoducho počúvať!

As part of the RADIO TERRITORIES project [www.radia.fm], ITCHY BIT organizes a one-month residency for sound artists. The chosen ones are Adam Hyde [nl] and Aleksandar Erkalovic [hr], who will be hosted by A4 in order to develop the Wifio software and protoype the hardware for it. WiFio is a radio which tunes through the internet - it is a hardware device which allows users to 'tune' through the electromagnetic spectrum 'listening' to internet traffic, the data transmitted via wireless being made audible by means of text to speech synthesis. Wifio will behave like an ordinary transistor radio, but instead of picking up radio stations, it will detect internet data, transmitted via wireless systems. At the end of their residency the artists will do a public presentation of their project and of the results achieved while working in Bratislava.
