Umelecká scéna v USA je tak zahľadená do seba, že každý verí, že sa tu skôr či neskôr objavia všetci zaujímaví výtvarníci. Existuje však aj istý paralelný okruh, svet umenia v Strednej Európe, o ktorom sa príliš v časopise Artforum nepíše. Viera Levitt predstaví výber videoumenia tohto odľahlého regiónu na neformálnej báze český výtvarník známy z minulých ročníkov ako "multiflat".
Hosťom večera je Pavel Mrkus, ktorý na minulom festivale Multiplace v spolupráci s Danom Hanzlíkom predstavil videoinštaláciu Shift v Trnavskej Synagóge a momentálne hosťuje na Rhode Island School of Design v Providence na Oddelení skla.

The Art scene in the USA is so self-centered that everybody believes that sooner or later all interesting artists will show up there. At the same time, another, parallel “multiple art circuit” can be found in Central Europe, one that Americans cannot really read about in Artforum magazine. Viera Levitt introduces videoart from this 'remote' region during the non-formal event known from previous festivals as 'multiflat'.

The guest of the evening is Czech artist Pavel Mrkus, who, together with Dan Hanzlik took part in Multiplace 2005 where they created a video installation 'Shift' in the Synagogue in Trnava. This semester, he teaches in the Glass Dept at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence.
